Better-for-you soft drink brand, bobby, has teamed up with founders of the Happy Hour podcast, Lucy Jackson and Nikki Westcott, to launch a limited-edition Strawberries & Cream flavour.

The collaboration marks bobby's first co-created flavour with personalities outside the brand – teaming with the creators of one of Australia’s most popular podcasts to expand a range of better-for-you beverages that includes Grape, Vanilla Cola, Doctor Bobby, Lemon Lime, Lemon, Orange, Cola, Ginger Beer, Passion Fruit, Berry, and Creamy Soda.

Jackson and Westcott were involved in the product development from the ground up, working on flavour concepts, participating in taste tests, and bringing their signature style into every step of the launch.

“We didn’t just want our faces on a can, we wanted a drink that felt like us. Strawberries & Cream is nostalgic, fun, a little cheeky, basically everything Happy Hour stands for,” said Jackson.

“Our punters are wild, loyal, and always up for a good time. Creating something they can sip and enjoy was a dream, and bobby made it happen.”

In a market dominated by mainstream players, the company said this partnership shows the power of podcast-driven communities and the commercial influence of female-led audiences.

bobby founder, Kristian Johannsen, said the company has always loved pushing boundaries with bold new flavours and giving traditional soft drink companies some competition.

“Partnering with Lucy & Nikki was a no-brainer. Their loud, wild, and unfiltered energy matches everything bobby stands for,” said Johannsen.

“At the same time, bobby has been rewriting the rules in the soft drink space, proving that better-for-you drinks can still be bold, flavourful, and a little cheeky. When we started chatting, the energy just clicked. They were already bobby drinkers, so co-creating a flavour that felt like 'them in a can' came naturally.

“We’re not here to be just another drink on the shelf, we’re here to start conversations, turn heads, and have a bloody good time doing it,” he said.

The bobby limited-edition Strawberries & Cream flavour is available exclusively in over 200 Coles and 100 Woolworths Metro stores nationwide.

“We're so excited to also have something that's not alcoholic for the punters to enjoy. Creamy, and completely satisfying without all the crap,” said Westcott.
