Worthy Cause, a charity that raises funds for important causes through food, is rivalling bakeries in Melbourne with their range of guilt free cookies, with each purchase going towards helping vulnerable people build a better life.

The cookie range includes classic Choc Chip, Caramilk Birthday Cake, Nutella Choc Chip and Peanut Butter Choc Chip flavours.

Available to purchase in packs of two, the cookies come in heat-sealed compostable and recyclable bags, with each cookie coming a minimum of 125g.

Based in Coburg North, Melbourne, and founded by Rick Cohen, Worthy Cause employs vulnerable people who, due to disability or disadvantage, have not been able to find long-term employment.

“Worthy Cause is determined to give as many people as possible the chance to better their lives. Employees receive a stable income, mentorship, soft-skills training and support in an inclusive and safe environment.

“Every person we help deserves the respect and opportunity to work for a better life, and through purchasing our cookies, Australians can help them get one step closer to achieving that,” says Cohen.

Cookies are made to order via online sales, retail partners and market stalls in Worthy Cause’s commercial kitchen.

The range is available in selected IGAs, Lamanna & Sons and are available for wholesale purchase.
