Pizza Hut has released an official statement across social and mainstream media regarding its “conscious uncoupling” from Patties' Four’N Twenty.

The relationship which resulted in the Four’N Twenty Stuffed Crust has received much attention over the last two months, but the official statement now released reveals a growing rift had developed between pie and pizza:

“It is with crusts full of sadness that we've decided to separate. While our passion briefly ran as hot as molten mozzarella, it seems we are just too delicious individually to live within the bounds of a mutual mouthful. Pie and pizza, it appears, are like chalk and cheese, oil and water, Gwyneth and Chris. We ask for your support during this difficult time as we consciously uncouple. It’s been a delicious ride.

“In respect to Four’N Twenty and what we had together, Pizza Hut will forever hold a pie bite in our heart.”

The pizza restaurant chain has said its Four’N Twenty Pie Bites (six-pack) and Four’N Twenty Stuffed Crust will be delivered only while stocks last.
