Patties and Pizza Hut have taken a social media flirtation to the next level with the launch of the Four’N Twenty Stuffed Crust Pizza.

The creation, which sees eight bite-sized Four’N Twenty meat pies nestled into the crust of a pizza, was spawned following a “steamy relationship on Twitter and Facebook” according to the two companies.

“Aussies love pizza and we love pies, so in a world-first we’ve brought these two legendary foods together in the crust, the perfect combination for the heart of the footy season,” Pizza Hut Australia's head of marketing and innovation Fatima Syed said.

Pizza Hut’s previous Stuffed Crust collaborations include Dorito’s Crunchy Crust, Cheeseburger Crust, Mitey Stuffed Crust and Hot Dog Stuffed Crust.

“Pizza Hut is the home of Stuffed Crust and we’re being more playful with our Stuffed Crust innovation than ever before. By partnering with some of the market’s most-loved brands, including Four’N Twenty, we are able to create high-quality pizzas our fans will enjoy. Like any good relationship, you have to keep it exciting.”

Four’N Twenty's general manager, marketing and innovation, Stuart Smyth said: “Who would have thought Four’N Twenty would welcome a pizza to the family?

"It really has been an exciting process to work with one of the world’s biggest pizza brands, seeing our newest addition, the Four’N Twenty Pie Bites fit so well into Pizza Hut’s famous Stuffed Crust pizzas.”
