Finalists in this year's Naturally Good Awards have been announced, with the winners set to be announced at a gala dinner on 3 June. The awards are part of the health and wellness trade show, Naturally Good.

The awards highlight brands that trailblaze and revolutionise the natural health industry, with an emphasis on innovation, quality, and sustainability.

Presented at the Naturally Good Expo on June 3 at the Award Gala Evening, guests can register now to attend.

The Naturally Good awards span across 14 categories including:

  • Best Home & Living Product
  • Best Beauty & Cosmetics Product
  • Best ‘Free From’ Product
  • Best Organic Certified Product
  • Best Australian Manufactured Product
  • Best New Brand – sponsored by Consult Group, Retail Leader, Trailblazer, Best Complimentary Medicine Brand and Best Socially Conscious Brand.

Expert judges include a panel of industry leaders, consultant, Despina Lord; Soulfresh founder & CEO, Didi Lo; Prof Consulting director & founder, Mark Field; Ranged MD, Jessica Maree Gordoun; Australian Organic CEO, Niki Ford; Tomorrowstory director, Lisa Crawford Jones; and Percolate media director, Nicci Herrera.

Event director Sofie Teh said, “The judges were unanimous in the immense challenge of reviewing such high-quality submissions this year. It’s incredibly inspiring to see the diversity and innovation of products, new brands and the individuals leading change.

“All are champions deserving of celebration – they demonstrate bravery, creativity, and are offering more exciting choice for consumers who are becoming increasingly conscious of their purchases and spending.”

Goodspace, Wuli Grooming, Fine Fettle Foods, Proper Crisps, Natures Farmer Sea, and Plantworx all secured two or more nominations across different categories.

The freshest most innovative new companies in the industry: Tulita, Nimbus, Yaala Sparkling, Blume Prebiotic Tonic, PETMIMA, Goodspace, and Melrose Peak Hydration have been highlighted through their nomination for Best New Brand.

The Naturally Good trade show is on 2-4 June at the Sydney International Convention Centre in Darling Harbour. Visitor registrations are now open.

Packaging News

At The Hive Awards in Sydney today, the Best Packaging category was won by Don Smallgoods, part of George Weston Foods, for its resealable flow wrap pack for sandwich fillers and other smallgoods. This innovative packaging is a departure from the conventional thermoformed packs and addresses consumer demands for better functionality, sustainability, and product visibility.

Applications for the 2024 APCO Annual Awards are now open, and are open to all of industry to apply.

APCO has completed its nationwide roadshow engaging industry on its 2030 packaging strategy. Pippa Corry of philo & co attended the Sydney session and summarised the key takeaways for PKN.
