Australian ingredients distributor, Juremont, has launched its new Product Application Lab in Kew, Melbourne – aiming to respond directly to growing customer demand for technical solutions, product development, and collaborative innovation.

Established in 1988, Juremont is a family-owned business that sources and distributes a wide portfolio of ingredients to the ANZ bakery, confectionery, and beverage manufacturing sectors including cocoa, chocolate, collagen, gelatine, juice concentrates, flavours, beverage whiteners, and creamers.

The Lab will be led by Juremont technical innovations manager, Sian Billington, and will serve as a hub for ingredient application and formulation – focused on taste, functionality, and flavour innovation.

“After being in operation for more than 36 years, our Lab launch marks an exciting time for Juremont’s business growth,” said Billington.

“It enhances how we showcase our ingredients through finished product concepts. It has enabled us to provide technical support on customer projects and work to offer cost-effective solutions.

“We welcome customers to get in touch with our sales team and join us to collaborate in this purpose-built space.”

The innovations and flavour creations Lab has been in the works for over 12 months, and will allow Juremont to highlight ingredients through its partnerships with international manufacturers, including Barry Callebaut, Prova, Kingmao, and Gelnex.

The space has been designed to collaborate with customers on projects, demonstrate the latest market trends in application, and work with customers on ingredients solutions, problem solving, and strategies to mitigate global supply challenges.
