Australian ingredients company and contract manufacturer Juremont has won the exclusive agency to supply Australian food manufacturers with Barry Callebaut cocoa product.

The deal, which kicks off in March, extends to cocoa powder, butter and liquor, and includes premium brand Bensdorp and specialty cocoa liquors.

Although the global cocoa market is volatile, Juremont says it expects its cocoa product sales to double over the next 12 months.

“Given the current volatility of the cocoa commodity market, it’s critical we keep our clients informed around price and supply issues,” Juremont commercial director Andrew Rolle said.

The company supplies cocoa and chocolate, as well as sugar, gelatin, IQF, dried fruit and vegetable products and flavours.
