Bulla Dairy Foods has launched a new ad campaign that promotes the company's status as an 'unfakeable' heritage brand.

Bulla is 105 years old, and has been owned by the same three families for six generations. The commercial was filmed in the brand’s hometown of Colac, Victoria, and features a number of staff and local families who have become the faces of the campaign.

Bulla said that ‘Unfakeable’ draws its inspiration from ‘unfakeably’ Australian icons and features the unmistakable voice of Michael Caton, and music by INXS, performed by Deborah Conway.

“Now, more than ever, Australian consumers are concerned about where their products are made and there is a preference to support homegrown brands,” Bulla general manager, marketing and innovation Nick Hickford said.

“Unfakeable is an opportunity for us to shine a light on the legacy our brand has created in the market. You can’t fake 105 years of quality, taste and tradition – you can’t fake what we have.”

Two commercials were produced, one for the company's cream product, and another for Bulla ice cream. The Unfakeable campaign kicked off yesterday.
