Dash Water has arrived in over 800 Coles stores Australia-wide, heavily expanding the brands Australian presence with the product already stocked in 700 Woolworths stores and 800 independent retailers across the country.

Dash consists of three ingredients: Australian spring water, bubbles, and ‘wonky fruit’ from Aussie farms. Since the brands arrival in Australia last year, it now manufactures its 100 per cent recyclable cans in Victoria, using spring water from just a few kilometres away and utilising rejected fruit produce from across the nation, including lemons from the Yarra Valley, mangos from Katherine, peaches from Swan Hill, raspberries from Corindi and cucumbers from Virginia.

Recognised by Europe’s Forbes 30 Under 30 List, Dash Water co-founders Jack Scott and Alex Wright were driven to create change with their shared farming backgrounds. The pair experienced the immense wastage created by the food industry first-hand and were inspired to explore innovative and sustainable methods to tackle it.

Coles and Dash Water, a certified B Corporation, are further aligned through a shared commitment to fighting food waste. In a continued effort towards a more sustainable planet, both companies have put pen to paper and signed the Australian Food Pact, an industry-wide commitment to halve food waste in Australia by 2030.

“It is fantastic to see how much the seltzer category has excited Australian consumers in recent years.

“Building on that excitement, the decision to expand into another leading supermarket that also supports the Australian Food Pact was a no brainer. With our shared values and sustainability commitments with Coles, we hope to inspire more people to judge by taste, and not looks, to reduce mass food waste,” said Scott.

Coles business category manager of beverages John Andrew said: “Coles is very excited to welcome Dash Water to our supermarket shelves. Our customers will appreciate the refreshing taste this summer and the company’s committed approach to sustainability.”

Dash flavours include Raspberry, Peach, and Mango, and is available in 4 x 300ml packs, for RRP $8.00 at select Coles stores, with plans for more flavours to land at Coles later down the track.

Packaging News

As 2025 draws to a close, it is clear the packaging sector has undergone one of its most consequential years in over a decade. Consolidation at the top, restructuring in the middle, and bold innovation at the edges have reshaped the industry’s horizons. At the same time, regulators, brand owners and recyclers have inched closer to a new circular operating model, even as policy clarity remains elusive.

Pact has reported a decline in revenue and earnings for the first five months of FY26, citing subdued market demand, as chair Raphael Geminder pursues settlement of the long-running TIC earn-out dispute.
