A new boozy coconut water with a fruit-flavoured kick has hit Australian shelves from Coastal Drink Co, one of the first in the country to cover this space in the RTD market. Coastals was born in Byron Bay in April last year, and is currently available in Pineapple, Watermelon, and Pink Grapefruit flavours.

Made from 100 per cent coconut water, with added fruit juice to create a flavour range, and pure rice vodka for the alcohol, the company stated the naturally occurring electrolyte salts in the water enhance the fruit juice flavours and make the drink tasty and refreshing.

The product was developed after nine months of fine-tuning with a co-packer who produces some of the world's largest coconut water brands, developing a unique alcoholic option that’s light and naturally sweet, made without any added sugar.

Coastals Hard Coco Water is available in select liquor stores across the country and online at coastaldrinkco.com for RRP $104.00 in a 16-pack.
