Treotham Automation has released a a range of watertight safety light curtains from Reer that are Ecolab food-grade certified.

Watertight enclosures allow light curtains and light grids to be used in harsh working environments, with exposure to water and steam.

The products protected by WT cases are IP 69K protection rate-tested and are capable of resisting up to 80 bar of water jets pressure at 80°C. The WT housings comprise a valid mechanical protection of the light curtain.

The H version (Heated) has a thermostatically controlled heating system and can work down to -25°C.

The F version with use of inert and non-toxic components allow WTF and WTHF enclosures to be used in the food and beverage industry, where no residuals are left when frequent wash-down procedures are requested, or when they come in direct contact of food.
