In a significant expansion of its sustainability initiative, Result Group has added to the line-up of participating associations in its Sustainability Corner at APPEX 2024.

Joining the collaborative effort to promote sustainability in packaging and reduce environmental impact are Australian Bioplastic Association, Australian Council of Recycling, Australian Food and Grocery Council, National Retail Association, and the Active & Intelligent Packaging Industry Association.

They team up with the Australian Institute of Packaging, Australian Packaging Covenant Organisation, End Food Waste and GS1 Australia.

The latest additions bring the number of leading organisations readily available at the Sustainability Corner to nine, each of which brings their unique expertise and resources to support the industry’s drive towards the 2025 National Packaging Targets, the 2030 Food Waste Targets, and adherence to the federal government’s mandatory packaging design standards.

Attendees of APPEX 2024 are encouraged to visit the Sustainability Corner to engage with these organisations, gain insights into sustainable packaging, recycling, bioplastics, food waste reduction and more.

Result Group says this is a 'unique opportunity' to access a broad spectrum of expertise and solutions in one place, geared towards fostering a more sustainable future.
