Elato leverages a patented method that enhances sweetness naturally, enabling 30 per cent less added sugar without artificial sweeteners. This breakthrough allows Elato’s flavours to shine, earning it widespread acclaim, including being named Australia’s #1 vanilla ice cream by the Good Food Guide in 2025. Its products are allergy-friendly, all-natural, and hold a 3-star Health Star Rating, creating a compelling balance of indulgence and nutrition.

The brand is also Australia’s first certified ice cream social enterprise, donating over 24,000 meals to OzHarvest and sourcing ingredients from suppliers that support community causes. Brand loyalty has been driven by creative campaigns, from cinema ads and trendy product collaborations to cashback word-of-mouth programs using Smartspotter’s consumer database.

Elato is planning a brand refresh, launching a gelato range and limited-edition flavours. Its goal is to lead the category with products that celebrate indulgence while supporting wellbeing.
