TasFoods has announced the resignation of its CFO Donna Wilson. Wilson was with the company for five years and will stay on until her replacement is found.

Wilson said her experience with the company has been rewarding. “The senior management team has worked very hard throughout the last five years to grow the company and I’m proud of what we have achieved over that time. I look forward to working with Jane and the team for a smooth transition,” said Wilson.

TasFoods managing director and CEO Jane Bennett said Wilson has been an integral part of the TasFood leadership team. She expressed her gratitude for Wilson’s contribution at the company and for her role in establishing the financial and compliance framework of the Group and completion of five acquisitions.

“Donna has played a key-role in enhancing the company systems and financial capability to enable future growth and completed the recent equity raisings and restructuring debt facilities to provide flexibility and tenure.

“On behalf of the board and everyone else at TasFoods, I thank Donna for her commitment and wish her every success for the future,” said Bennett.

Packaging News

The World Packaging Organisation has named 234 winners for the WorldStar Packaging Awards 2026, which were selected from 481 entries submitted across 36 countries.

ACOR is calling on the Government to urgently introduce packaging reforms or risk the collapse of Australia’s plastic recycling sector and face millions of tonnes of plastic waste polluting the environment.

As 2025 draws to a close, it is clear the packaging sector has undergone one of its most consequential years in over a decade. Consolidation at the top, restructuring in the middle, and bold innovation at the edges have reshaped the industry’s horizons. At the same time, regulators, brand owners and recyclers have inched closer to a new circular operating model, even as policy clarity remains elusive.
