Baiada Poultry is pioneering a new segment within the chilled pre-prepared meals category with its soon to be launched Just Eat It range of ready-to-eat chicken and turkey products.

The new Steggles Just Eat It range is cooked, sliced, and ready to eat, cold or hot, straight out of an easy-peel pack.

The range features Oven Roasted Chicken Slices, Rosemary and Lemon Chicken Slices, and Oven Roasted Turkey Slices. Instead of the deli or fresh meat section, the Just Eat It range will appear in the chilled salad, pizza and pasta section of the supermarket.

Steggles assistant brand manager, Shana Khan says: “The Steggles brand stands for quality family meals, and with this new range we strengthen our position as a contemporary brand.”

The Just Eat It range is in particular designed to appeal to busy, health conscious people, she says. “We have focused on the ever growing demographic of people who seek a convenient and healthy meal solution."

To launch Just Eat It, an extensive marketing campaign will be rolled out promoting the convenience, ease and health benefits of the new range.

The campaign will begin at the end of February spanning television, outdoor, print, and social media, says Khan.
