Australian pasta brand, San Remo, is immersing itself in the digital age, with the appointment of online recipe content creator and entrepreneur, Leah Itsines, as its new brand ambassador.

San Remo has been cooking up 100 per cent Australian durum wheat pasta since 1936, finding its way onto shelves at major and independent supermarkets across the country. Itsines said the Adelaide-based brand holds “a special place in her heart”, having been born and raised in Adelaide.

“As a long-standing fan of San Remo, I am honoured to be one of their new ambassadors,” said Itsines.

“Pasta is one of our family’s favourite dishes for entertaining at any large gathering or casual family dinner, and San Remo has always been my go-to.”

Her meal plans and online series, Leah’s Kitchen, encourage consumers towards healthy and nutritious choices, aiming to make delicious pasta recipes accessible to Australian families.

San Remo marketing manager, Hugh McIntosh, said encouraging Itsines to join the company as an ambassador was “an effortless decision”.

“San Remo provides Australian families with new and convenient ways to cook flavourful and nutritious meals, no matter how busy you are,” said McIntosh.

“We look forward to working with Leah on showcasing her love for pasta and cooking with Aussie households.”
