Australian chilled juice company, Nudie, is partnering with Aussie netball great, Liz Ellis, to launch a new line of  juices made specifically for children.

As its brand ambassador, Liz Ellis will help spruik the new lunchbox products in Tetra Pak packaging, and help the company to provide practical tips to parents to ensure their kids lead a healthy lifestyle.

“As a mother I know it’s a challenge to get kids to eat the right amount of fruit each day, so combining a kids Nudie juice with a piece of whole fruit is a great way of ensuring kids get the two serves of fruit they need each day,” said Ellis.

The new Nudie kids range is, like its chilled range, made from 100 per cent fruit, and contains no concentrate, added sugar or preservatives.

According to Nudie, each product contains two serves of fruit and can contribute towards a child’s recommended daily intake of fruit.

Nudie said its research showed that Australian parents consider 100 per cent fruit juice as the most important feature for juices for kids.

Nudie’s CEO, James Ajaka, told Food & Drink Business that parents who give their kids Nudies had been asking the company to make a product they could put into a lunch box.

The new range comes in four flavours and RRPs at $6.99 for a six pack. The range is available from Woolworths in the chilled section and in selected cafes and corner stores.
