Wine distributor Mezzanine The Fine Wine Specialist will welcome family-owned champagne house Champagne Taittinger to its portfolio of domestic and international premium wine brands from 5 October. 

Mezzanine The Fine Wine Specialist is one of two distributors part of the Joval Wine Group, which is an Australian independent, family-owned company representing brands from around the world, including Cullen, Craggy Range, Nanny Goat Vineyard, Tar & Roses, Yangarra, Burlotto and AIX Rose.

“We are delighted to welcome the Taittinger family and their elegant champagnes into the Mezzanine The Fine Wine Specialist portfolio,” said Mezzanine The Fine Wine Specialist national sales manager Matt Turnull and national brand manager Bree Richmond.

Champagne Taittinger managing director Clovis Taittinger said joining the Mezzanine family is an exciting opportunity for the brand.

Champagne Taittinger’s Chardonnay cuvees vary from top class Brut Reserve NV, through to its Comtes de Champagne Blanc de Blancs, which is one of the most highly prized champagnes in the world.

The cuvee, made solely from Chardonnay, harvests grapes from five Grand Cru villages in the Côte des Blancs region.
