KitKat will open a store in Melbourne which capitalises on the personalisation trend.

Following on from the brand's range of pop-up stores, the permanent store will give chocolate lovers the chance to create their own personalised KitKat at any time.

Called the KitKat Chocolatory, the store and its range of sweets are the result of a collaboration between the brand, street artist Dvate and pastry expert Anna Polyviou.

There will be a dessert collection inspired by the city’s street art, and including flavours such as stone ground maccha, almond nougat, and toasted coconut, housed in a commemorative pack.

Opening on 21 October in Melbourne Central, the store will give customers the chance to buy handcrafted chocolates and one-off flavour combinations.

Using 100 per cent sustainable UTZ certified chocolate and an ever-changing range of ingredients, they can design their own KitKat bars.
