Mealkit company HelloFresh has a new product offering called Dinner to Lunch that leverages the office midday staple: leftovers.

Dinner to Lunch promises to save customers both more time and money by helping them morph their dinner into tasty new meals for lunch by adding a few extra ingredients.

The new product launch is based on the finding that 76 per cent of consumers cook enough for leftovers regularly, with four out of five of these using these leftovers as lunch the next day.

The Dinner to Lunch recipes are available on the company's Classic Plan, and include a few extra ingredients and increased quantities, in addition to the standard recipe.

For example, Casablanca Chicken and Roast Veggies for dinner turns into a Moroccan Chicken Couscous Bowl for lunch, and a Chilli Con Carne into a Beef Burrito.

“HelloFresh prides itself on helping Aussies save time, diminish dinner decision-making fatigue, and enjoy a greater variety of meals, so we’re delighted to offer a new solution for those wanting to make lunch prep more appealing with the Dinner to Lunch launch,” HelloFresh Australia CEO Tom Rutledge says.

Customers can include the Dinner To Lunch recipe in their Classic Box (starting at $69.95 per week) for only $11.90, which allows for two lunches.
