Health and wellness product manufacture Halo Food Co has secured a private label contract with Coles worth $9.5 million over two years.

The contract came into force this month and includes multiple powdered SKUs in various pack formats, flavours, and sizes. Halo has an existing annual contract worth $3.3 million with Coles, which began in November 2021, after the company rebranded from Keytone Dairy

Halo CEO Danny Rotman said the value of the contract could be higher or lower, depending on consumer demand, but the deal ratifies the strong relationship it has with the retailer.

“Halo has delivered throughout the initial term and cemented our reputation and credentials as a leading manufacturer for quality, consistency and on time delivery,” Rotman said.

Halo’s brands include The Healthy Mummy, Tonic, Key Dairy, Super Cubes, and Gran’s.

The company acquired The Healthy Mummy in February for $17 million. The online business is aimed at young mothers wanting to lose weight. Its digital subscriptions offer access to health professionals and it also has a merchandise line available online and through Priceline.
