Good & Fugly has launched in Brisbane, following it's Melbourne launch in September last year. The company is now seeking to connect with local Queensland farmers who have cosmetically challenged produce or surplus stock they need cleared.

Good & Fugly first launched its services in Sydney in 2020 to help fight food waste in Australia. The team have since delivered over 200,000 kilograms of 'quirky' fruit & veg to consumers.

The company successfully completed a fundraising campaign with Birchal in July last year to assist in opening operations down-south in Melbourne.

The company says Good & Fugly boxes and delivery are around 20 per cent below supermarket pricing, and are an easy way to combat cost of living while doing good for the planet.

Every box is filled with fresh, seasonal produce direct from farmers and also include recipe cards to help utilise the produce.

Good & Fugly founder Richard Tourino says that as part of the launch, Good & Fugly is looking to connect with local Queensland farmers who have cosmetically challenged produce or surplus stock they need cleared. Interested farmers are invited to contact Good & Fugly’s Farmer’s Hotline.

“The price of fruit and veg is skyrocketing, and still, major supermarkets are rejecting produce based on looks alone. After our launches in Sydney and Melbourne, we’re excited to enter a market looking to do good and eat fresh,” said Tourino.

Good & Fugly boxes are available for delivery and can be ordered online from $42.00.

Consolidation at the top, restructuring in the middle, and bold innovation at the edges have reshaped the industry’s horizons. At the same time, regulators, brand owners and recyclers have inched closer to a new circular operating model, even as policy clarity remains elusive.
