Woolworths is spicing things up for the spooky season, with the launch of a brand new mud cake flavour, available for a limited time only.

The Pumpkin Spice Mud Cake 600g has been developed by the Woolworths Bakery team, combining the warm flavours of cinnamon and nutmeg and topped with a chocolate ganache.

It will join the stores iconic mud cake range for a limited time, which sells over 2.6 million cakes every year.

Woolworths chief cake maker, Laura Mcleod, said the team’s latest mud cake innovation, the Pumpkin Spice Mud cake, is inspired by the growing global love for pumpkin spice flavours, especially around Halloween.

“We've seen this trend resonate strongly with Australians year after year, which is why we know this delicious new flavour will be a Halloween hit,” she said.

The Pumpkin Spice Mud Cake 600g is available in all Woolworths stores and online for RRP $7.00.
