Casella Family Brands wine label [yellow tail] has launched its latest drop for the summer, adding Mediterranean Lemon Spritz to its popular Sparkling Cocktails range.

The new ready-to-drink craft cocktail joins the lineup of [yellow tail] Sparkling Cocktail innovations that launched in November last year, which includes Wild Peach Bellini and Blood Orange Mimosa.

Spritz cocktails are continuing to surge in popularity, with the category seeing a +40.4 per cent volume growth and +34.5 per cent value growth in the wine segment.

To cater to this trend, Mediterranean Lemon Spritz delivers a refreshing taste of summer with its vibrant citrus flavors, blending all-natural lemon with Australian sparkling wine. The cocktail’s balanced acidity and subtle bitterness create a refined complexity for any occasion.

[yellow tail] brand manager, Madeleine Legoe, said Mediterranean Lemon spritz is the perfect zesty new addition to our Sparkling cocktails range.

“With the growth of lemon and RTDs, there was an opportunity to innovate recruiting younger consumers into the category and [yellow tail] brand,” said Legoe.

“Available just in time for Summer, it’s the perfect ready to drink cocktail, with no preparation necessary.”

The new Mediterranean Lemon Spritz Sparkling Cocktail ABV 10.5% is available exclusively at Dan Murphy's for RRP $18.
