McCain’s latest pizza range Rustica Sourdough has stripped back the toppings, slowed down the base and   sent the message, a night at home with pizza is a good night.

The sourdough base is proofed, rested and then cooked on a hot stone and the three varieties have selected toppings.

McCain Australia brand manager – Pizzas Alice Briant said the beauty in the range is its simplicity. “Our team have spent months carefully selecting each ingredient within the Rustica range so our customers can simply enjoy a great night in with friends and family.

“And of course, we know the crust is just as important to our customers as the toppings, our crafted sourdough base is cooked directly on a hot stone for a deliciously light and crisp texture and authentic rustic appearance, enabling a restaurant quality experience in the comfort and convenience of their own home.

“As last year showed us, creating a momentous night IN is so important and we feel we have delivered the perfect pizza for home.”
