Having rolled out its first line of authentic Vietnamese pantry items and condiments in June 2021, Roll'd Vietnamese is bringing a new range of pantry friendly broths, noodles and condiments to Coles supermarkets. 

The move marks an entry into the Asian food aisle, with Coles data suggesting customer appeal in the Asian (Vietnamese) scratch ingredients category continues to grow year on year (nearly 10 per cent growth in demand for Asian food at Coles); as well as internal Roll'd data suggesting a 50 per cent increase in brand awareness nationally.

Roll’d Vietnamese Founder and CEO, Bao Hoang said Roll’d Vietnamese FMCG total range had generated over $3 million in the past 12 months.

“The expansion of Roll'd's FMCG range marks a monumental milestone for our first steps into grocery channels; especially as the customer appeal in the Asian (Vietnamese) scratch ingredients category continues to grow year on year, ” said Hoang.

Building on the success of the initial range of bottled sauces, rice paper and Vermicelli noodles, Roll'd Vietnamese is continuing its promise of fast and fresh Vietnam-easy meals; with traditional heat-and-serve Phở broths, Phở rice noodles, Sweet Viet Sriracha Sauce and Premium Chilli Oil delivering hearty, authentic Vietnamese street eats. 

Roll'd Vietnamese nutrition ambassador, nutritionist Sarah Leung says hydration through winter is especially important as a source of fuel and for maintaining a healthy glow from within.

"As the cooler weather rolls in, everyone begins thinking of soul-warming foods and Vietnamese Phở springs to mind. Besides the warmth, Phở offers a range of health benefits that'll aid digestion, skin hydration and overall provides healthy antioxidants to the body," said Leung.
