Australian coconut water producer, Raw C, has supersized one of its most recent offerings due to high demand, with the launch of a 1 litre bottle version of its Pure Coconut Water infused with Chocolate.

Since debuting just before Easter, the company said its take on the chocolate coconut water trend struck a chord with fans looking for a little indulgence, without the guilt. Raw C’s chocolate coconut water blends single-origin coconut water infused with cocoa and coconut cream to create a smooth drink with just the right amount of chocolate goodness, without being overly sweet.

Compared to most chocolate milks, Raw C Chocolate Coconut Water is a lighter, dairy-free way to get your chocolate fix – with up to three times less fat and more than 70 per cent less sugar, minus the heavy hit.

Raw C described it as refreshingly hydrating, chocolatey goodness – the ultimate upgrade for coconut water lovers who believe one sip is never enough.

“Combining the unmatched refreshment of Raw C’s single-origin coconut water with rich cocoa and a dash of coconut cream, it has quickly become a must-have for post-gym pick-me-ups, afternoon slumps or a little sweet treat to get you through the day,” the company stated.

The chocolate flavour joined Raw C’s range of sparkling and still flavoured coconut water, released in November 2024, including pineapple, watermelon, sparkling lychee, sparkling ginger beer, and sparkling kola. Sparkling lychee also made its US debut in June, landing in Costco stores for the Northern Hemisphere summer.

Raw C’s 1L Chocolate-Infused Coconut Water is now available in Woolworths stores across the country, for RRP $5.50.

Australia's emerging soft plastics recycling infrastructure is ready to process significantly more material, according to Soft Plastic Stewardship Australia, which has launched a three-month campaign aimed at boosting consumer returns and strengthening domestic supply of recycled resin.

PKN’s latest print issue is hitting desks and landing in inboxes, bringing readers up to speed with the people, technologies and innovations shaping packaging, printing and processing across Australia and beyond.
