A dairy-free iced beverages brand has followed the trend towards cold-extracted coffee with a new launch.

Called Cor de Coco, the ready-to-drink cold-extracted coffee is brewed with cold water for over 10 hours to ensure it doesn't have the bitterness typically found in a hot brew, according to the company.

In the US, this new style of coffee preparation achieved an estimated 115 per cent growth in 2015 from the previous year, reaching US$7.9 million in retail sales.

Last year also saw further growth in coconut milk consumption in Australia.

Cor de Coco is a coconut iced coffee which is naturally flavoured and allergen-friendly.

According to the company, it has 30 per cent less sugar than most iced coffee brands.

It comes in a 280ml glass bottle and is available in flavours of Coconut Double Shot Espresso, Coconut Mochacinno, and Coconut Vanilla Latte.
