Suntory Global Spirits’ bourbon brand, Jim Beam, is bolstering its Australian portfolio with the release of three new products designed to tap into consumer demand for premium products and flavour innovation.

Jim Beam Black aged for 7 years in virgin oak barrels, is returning with a new look, delivering a smoother, richer profile with notes of oak, vanilla and golden caramel, ideal for consumers looking for a premium bourbon option.

The product was re-introduced to the US market in mid-2024, featuring an updated formula and packaging to reflect a more premium and mature whiskey. Now Australian enthusiasts will be able to get their hands on the product with ease.

James B. Beam Distilling Company seventh and eighth generation master distillers, Fred and Freddie Noe, said at the time that Jim Beam Black continues the 229-year family tradition of distilling exceptional bourbon that is both accessible and remarkable.

“Jim Beam Black is the culmination of our family's dedication to crafting the finest bourbon. With each sip, you're experiencing seven years of careful maturation and a tradition that has been passed down for over two centuries,” said Noe.

“We’ve put our heart and soul into creating this bourbon, and we believe it represents the very best of what Jim Beam has to offer. It's a testament to our commitment to quality and craftsmanship.”

The Jim Beam RTD range has also expanded in Australia with two new flavour innovations – Jim Beam & Vanilla Cola and Jim Beam & Ginger Beer. Both pair Jim Beam White Bourbon with flavourful twists, designed to meet the growing appetite for variety and refreshment in the RTD category.

Jim Beam Black will be available in liquor retailers for RRP $66 in a 700ml bottle, or $92 in a 1-litre format. Jim Beam & Vanilla Cola and Jim Beam & Ginger Beer will be available in a six-pack for RRP $35.00.
