The launch of a limited edition Choc Mint Mudcake version of the classic Woolworths mudcake is being rewarded by fans across social media.

Cake transformations or 'hacks' have a cult following online with various flavours of supermarket mudcakes from both Coles and Woolworths eagerly snapped up.

This taps the marketing trend of selling ready-made cakes ripe for further decorating in a bid to entice consumers to try their hands at creating professionally looking birthday and special occasion cake.

Woolworths has expanded its mudcake range in recent times to include white chocolate and carmel varieties.

Formulated to attract choc-mint lovers, and a hungry-for-more tribe of 'cake hackers', the Choc Mint Mudcake is available only until stocks last at Woolworths supermarkets.
