The AIP is also hosting the prestigious international WorldStar Packaging Awards and the 2018 PIDA Awards. There will also be a gala dinner, Women in Industry breakfast forum, and five editors from the International Packaging Press Organisation (IPPO) as guest speakers during the event. Over 30 countries are expected to be represented.

Keynote speakers include: Orora's Nigel Garrard, Sealed Air's Karl Deily, Shine's Steven Chapman, McCormick & Company's Jacqui Wilson-Smith, and ABB's Alan Spreckley.

With the theme of Bridging the Gender Gap, the event will explore initiatives in Australian companies which make positive changes for female employees.

This session is an exclusive opportunity to meet one of the US-based trainers from the Fundamentals of Packaging Technology Course which is available online through the AIP. Jane Chase, CEO of the IoPP in the US, will be presenting three of the most popular modules on 3 May.
