An almond milk company has changed the look of its packaging after asking 3000 Australians for a vote on four styles.

Almond Breeze asked baristas and roasters to share which design they like the best for its Barista Blend variety, and they went into the running to win $20,000 to divide between themselves and their favourite café.

The winning design, which features a sleek dark blue look, aims to complement Australian café culture with its minimalistic design and simple clean aesthetic.

The Barista Blend concepts were created with the help of baristas across Australia for the past nine months, and the winning look complements the almond milk formula.

Baristas were asked to select their favourite packaging design from four options.

In appreciation for their help, Almond Breeze Barista Blend has created the Barista Benchmark series, featuring leading baristas on the side of its new packs.

The #VoteBaristaBlend campaign was launched at the Melbourne International Coffee Expo and called upon coffee connoisseurs to #VoteBaristaBlend and decide which design they thought was the best out of the four possible options.

The winner of the competition, Natalie Batchelor, chose to share the money with Tarts Café in Perth.
