Automated Packaging Systems’ new bag packaging system, the FAS SPrint Revolution, which is distributed locally by MPI Australia, has been designed with food packaging in mind.

It presents a conveyor of pre-opened bags that are ready for immediate loading from a wide workspace.

It has been ergonomically designed to enable an operator to stand in front of a horizontal row of pre-opened bags that are moving along a variable speed conveyor.

It allows a wide range of bulk and portion pack food items to be easily loaded, including frozen meats, fresh fruits and vegetables.

It has also been designed to accommodate food packaging applications which involve contact with moisture, oils and chemicals and other products that require daily wash-down procedures.

The system operates in continuous, intermittent or batch modes, and packages at speeds of up to 2200 cm per minute and uses resealable bags.
