Australian food packaging and processing equipment maker tna is making a trip to France to showcase its machinery range at next month's (March) CFIA 2013 food industry show in Rennes.

Heading its line-up in Rennes will be the latest addition to its tna robag vertical form fill and seal (VFFS) range, the tna robag FXIS 3ci.

Designed with performance, simplicity and flexibility in mind, the company says it features the world’s first rotary impulse sealing jaws system, enabling efficient packaging of ready-to-eat fruit and fresh vegetables at speeds of up to 150 bags per minute.

Company representatives will also be on-stand to introduce tna's roflo VM 3 – a vibratory motion conveying system that rapidly, yet gently, transports delicate fruit and vegetables along the packaging line to minimise damage and optimise output.

The easy-to-clean design also ensures that manufacturers comply with strict HACCP and quality assurance standards to reduce waste and deliver the highest quality products.

The company will also be demonstrating its flavouring capabilities with the tna intelli-flav CLO3 closed loop oil application system. Using true mass flow control, the system ensures even coverage as product throughput varies.

Efficiency is further maximised through re-circulation technology, and a unique purging solution clears pipework during stoppages to meet production demands and optimise output. The tna intelli-flav CLO can be integrated with other tna intelli-flav systems, or current production set ups.

All the machines can also be incorporated into existing manufacturing systems, and be fully integrated with tna weighers, metal detectors and date coders for a comprehensive and efficient packaging line, whatever the product.
