Confirming its position as a complete packaging solutions provider, tna (02 9714 2300) has acquired The Cadalec Group, UK-based specialists in electrical and control system integration.

Founded in 1989, The Cadalec Group has since expanded its initial operations in PLC and computer system engineering and automation, to offer complete solutions for electrical design and build. With a dedicated team of highly skilled engineers, the company offers broad engineering solutions from software and complete system design to electrical control panel manufacture, installation, commissioning and training.

The acquisition broadens tna’s value-added control system product and service offering, including process line control and data acquisition systems, as well as additional options for SCADA, operator interfaces, network systems, spare parts, and remote support. Additionally, the closer alignment of tna equipment and control systems services brings added benefits to customers, such as increased assurance for on-schedule project completion, full ISO 9001 TickIT quality control procedures and standardisation of the company’s control solutions.

“Having worked closely with The Cadalec Group in the last few years we know that their knowledge of control software, integration of systems and managing large electrical installations are second to none,” said tna’s director of business development Bob Fritz. “We’re delighted to be strengthening our existing collaboration with the company, and are particularly looking forward to leveraging significant mutual benefits from sharing our extensive knowledge and relationships.”
