Australian company Rinoldi has received three nominations in the SIAL Innovation Awards which recognise product creativity.

Byron Bay Cookie Company, a newcomer to the Rinoldi fold, received two nominations, one for its new Byron Bay Cookie Gluten Free retail range which was launched in August 2014, and an upcoming new Byron Bay Cookie Company Gluten Free Crispbread range to be launched in September 2014.

Both products are exclusive to the UK market.

Rinoldi’s retail pasta brand Vetta Pasta, was also nominated for its Cholesterol Lowering Smart Pasta range.

This product is available in major supermarket across Australia, and it will be on display at the SIAL show for the first time in October, along with Vetta High Fibre, which is set to launch in the UK in September.

The Salon International de L'agroalimentaire (SIAL) is the world’s largest food innovation exhibition, hosting over 6000 industry suppliers and attracting around 150,000 visitors from over 200 countries.

Nominations are selected by a committee of independent experts based on their innovation in the global food marketplace.

In addition to being featured in the SIAL Innovation 2014 book, nominees of the Innovation Awards will go on to compete in for the Grands Prix SIAL Innovation 2014 Awards.
