Egg supplier Novo Foods has launched its annual Pink Egg fundraising campaign to raise money for the McGrath Foundation over Easter.

With the support of Coles and Woolworths, the campaign has raised over $1 million since it started in 2009.

Every pack of cage-free or free range pink eggs sold contributes to a $100,000 donation each year to help place McGrath breast care nurses in communities across Australia.

Currently, one in eight Australian women will be diagnosed with breast cancer by the age of 85.

The McGrath Foundation is working towards realising Jane McGrath’s dream of being able to provide a breast care nurse for every Australian family suffering breast cancer.

There are now 110 McGrath breast care nurses working in Australian communities who have supported over 40,000 families.

Specially marked packs of pink eggs are available for sale during the Easter period.
