Produce company Perfection Fresh has partnered with hunger relief organisation Foodbank to help in two key areas of supply.

The partnership will help vulnerable Australians access fresh produce while tackling food waste.

Foodbank will receive fresh produce donations from the Perfection Fresh network in NSW, VIC, QLD and WA.

Perfection Fresh already provides Foodbank with a variety of fresh produce from their range including tomatoes, broccoli, lettuce, asparagus, cucumbers and fruit salad.

Based on the success of an ongoing Foodbank partnership in South Australia, Perfection Fresh is also making use of other growing regions across the country.

Perfection Fresh also advocates for reducing food waste in Australia by promoting a wider use of perfectly edible produce that doesn’t meet consumer specifications.
