Gin distillery Four Pillars has appointed two new distribution partners in Singapore and Malaysia, exporting its four core gins to the South East Asia market.

Four Pillars has ended its partnership with Brand Connect Asia Pacific after three years, and helped to launch the gin in the region.

Signapore’s Octopus Group and Malaysia’s Luen Heng will now distribute Four Pillars across the two countries.

“First and foremost, we want to thank Justin, Derrick and the Brand Connect team for their hard work building the Four Pillars brand for the past three years in the region. While we look forward to an exciting future with Octopus Group, we cannot thank Brand Connect enough for where they have established us in the Singapore market,” said Four Pillars regional trade director Mark Lawton.

“It’s obviously an incredibly difficult time for our industry globally, but we look forward to working together with the team at Octopus to continue to grow in this market once it is safe to do so.”

Lawton said Four Pillars hadn’t put much focus on Malaysia but that Luen Heng would help the team establish “a better foothold” in the market.

“Strengthening our presence throughout South East Asia is one of our key focuses for the years ahead, and we look forward to working with Luen Heng to help us do so,” said Lawton.

Four Pillars’ Rare Dry Gin, Spiced Negroni Gin, Navy Strength Gin, and Bloody Shiraz Gin will be exported to Malaysia and Singapore, joining the growing global presence of the gin in more than 20 countries.
