Home delivery food service, My Food Bag, has appointed Kevin Roberts, executive chairman of Saatchi & Saatchi Worldwide, as its chairman.

My Food Bag aims to deliver high quality, healthy, free range, seasonal recipes to households on a weekly basis.

Roberts is executive chairman of Saatchi & Saatchi Worldwide, where he was CEO Worldwide from 1997 to 2014. He has held other leadership and marketing roles at PepsiCo, Procter & Gamble and Australasian brewer Lion Nathan.

Roberts has also become an investor in My Food Bag, which now has over 15,000 subscribers in Australasia and has seen $50 million turnover within two years since its launch, according to the company.

“I love My Food Bag’s customer-first model and am stoked to be on board,” Roberts said.
