The Byron Bay Brewery will reopen its doors this Friday following a three-month refurbishment.

Lion, the venue’s owner, said it would continue to offer "fresh and flavoursome craft beers", sharing the space with locals and visitors.

Lion’s craft director Gordon Treanor said they provided an experience which showcased the Byron region's best brews.

Head brewer Alastair Gillespie, who has been with the Byron Bay Brewery since June 2015, is looking forward to its next chapter.

‘I’ve seen the work that’s gone into the renovation and I can’t wait for people to come in and see how great it looks," he said.

"Anyone who pops in will really enjoy the new experience, and I'm really looking forward to brewing some of the popular ales made at the brewery over the years and also sharing some new lagers."
