A new online store, Just a Crumb, has launched to support Australian bakeries in reducing food waste – offering consumers cake offcuts and leftover treats that might otherwise go to waste, delivered to the door.

Located at justacrumb.com.au, the new site is founded on the principle of reducing food waste, partnering with local bakeries to rescue cake offcuts and delivering them around Australia for a more affordable price. Officially launched on 30 June, the site currently offers a range of products, including cakes, slices, and cookies.

Just a Crumb founder, Simon Shuster, said the company believes the best part of the cake isn't just the first slice – it's every bit of it.

“Our mission is simple: to make incredible sweet treats accessible and enjoyable, while also making a positive impact on food waste. Every crumb has a story, and now, every crumb finds a happy home,” said Shuster.

Head to JustACrumb.com.au to check out the range of sustainably-sourced sweet treats, now available for delivery Australia-wide.
