Shaking up the bottle

Does everyone remember when the global wine drinking community lost its ever-loving mind at the notion of wine bottles having a screw top lid rather than a cork? It really was a simpler time. The wine industry is now at the forefront of so many aspects of beverage manufacturing, particularly sustainability, and packaging is a major part of that. Accolade wines is one case in point, with new formats for consumers and industry. That’s on page 21.

The iQRenew SPEC facility in Taree, NSW, opened its doors yesterday to stakeholders across industry and government, demonstrating at scale how household soft plastics can be turned into a valuable resource. PKN was there.
