Good Drinks Australia has appointed Mick McKeown as head of sales and marketing. McKeown has previously held several key roles across craft, international and contemporary beer with Great Northern, Carlton Dry and Carlton Draught.

Good Drinks MD John Hoedemaker said McKeown’s background and leadership experience added significant value to the team.

“Mick joins Good Drinks at a pivotal time in our business. To have Mick’s leadership at Good Drinks is invaluable, and his local connections across Queensland and the east coast will help steer our targeted national strategy.

“With Gage Roads Brew Co and Matso’s continuing to outperform the market, new venues including Matso’s Sunshine Coast about to open, partner brands such as Magners, Coors and Miller leaders in the flavoured beer and international categories, and the launch of our new brand Rider Lite, there’s a lot happening in the Good Drinks portfolio,” said Hoedemaker.

McKeown said, “I feel very privileged to join the incredible team at Good Drinks Australia and am looking forward to building on the award-winning portfolio of brands and working with our customers to expand the craft, contemporary and international categories. The energy and passion the Good Drinks team has for our industry is infectious and I can’t wait to get started.”
