foodpro 2014 is drawing exhibitors from China, United States, Germany, United Kingdom, Singapore, the Netherlands, and New Zealand, according to its organisers.

Leading food processing industry suppliers showcasing cutting edge innovation from around the world include Vemag, Multivac and Devro, plus leading agents Globus, Nuplex Specialties, Pacific Food Machinery and CBS Foodtech.

foodpro Exhibition Manager, Peter Petherick, said international exhibitors represent around 5 per cent of total exhibitors.

“International exhibitors are an important part of foodpro because they showcase innovations, new products and technological advances from around the globe.

“foodpro follows two of the largest triennial trade events in Germany; interpack, a packaging event, and IFFA, a meat industry event, and many of the latest products and innovations from those two events are circulated at foodpro,” Petherick said.

For this reason, he said, Australian food manufacturing professionals really can’t afford to miss out on foodpro 2014.

“It’s the one chance to discover future products and innovations and meet the companies and suppliers who are setting new trends and industry advancements from around the world,” Petherick said.

foodpro 2014 will run from Sunday 22 June to Wednesday 25 June at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, Southbank.
