This year’s Finder Retail Awards analysed thousands of responses from Australian consumers to find their favourite brands, from jam to long-life milk.

Finder and data research company Kantar asked consumers to rate the brands of pantry and fridge staples by factors like taste, value for money and whether they would recommend them to a friend.

The winners were:

Butter Brand – Western Star

Yoghurt Brand – Gippsland

Bread Brand – Abbott's Village Bakery

Dips Brand – Yumi’s
