Entries for the 2025 Australian International Olive Awards are now open, an opportunity for olive producers in Australia and internationally to be recognised and discovered for the quality of their olive oils and table olives.

The Australian International Olive Awards (AIOA) is run annually by the Australian Olive Association (AOA), and opened to international entries in 2017. Judging is also international, with the entries for 2024 evaluated by expert panels in Italy, China, Tunisia, New Zealand and Australia.

Although 2024 was a difficult year for growers, local producers came out on top, with the judges stating Australian consumers can be confident that the locally-produced extra virgin olive oils, flavoured oils and table olives they’re buying are truly world-class.

Participants receive comprehensive judging feedback, regardless of medal or award wins, and will be listed in the 2025 Results Book, available online at australianextravirgin.com.au – a consumer-facing marketing tool with a Producer Index Listing section.

The three entry categories include extra virgin olive oils, flavoured olive oils, and table olives.

Entries are now open, and close on 22 August, with major award winners announced at the 2025 AIOA Gala Presentation on 30 October in Adelaide, South Australia. Head to internationaloliveawardsaustralia.com.au for more information and to enter.
