Cocofrio has responded to demand for dairy alternatives with an allergy-free ice cream made with organic coconut milk, natural fruit and organic rice malt syrup.

Cocofrio founder Tintin Sealey says sales of dairy-free products made from almonds, rice and coconut milk were expected to reach $1.7 billion in the US next year, and her company's growth is evidence of the trend.

“We're currently on track to increase sales volume and revenue this financial year by 160 per cent, and with the strategies we have in place we're expecting those figures to double next year,” she says.

Top sellers in the range include Salted Caramel, Caramel Honey Macadamia and Choc Raspberry Ripple.

Manufactured in Australia and certified organic by Australian Certified Organic, the range is available in 500ml, five-litre and soon-to-be 200ml tubs. Recommended retail price is $12.95 for the 500ml edition and between $50 and $60 for the 5L tub.

Packaging News

Pact has reported a decline in revenue and earnings for the first five months of FY26, citing subdued market demand, as chair Raphael Geminder pursues settlement of the long-running TIC earn-out dispute.
