Brewer and author Charles Bamforth will be the keynote speaker at this year’s Australian Craft Brewers Conference in Adelaide.
The event, to be held from 25 to 27 July, will include a three-day trade expo and a craft beer awards evening at Adelaide Oval on the final night.
Dr Bamforth's academic career has included a PhD in biochemistry from the University of Hull. He also worked for Bass Brewers and Brewing Research International and is editor in chief of the Journal of the American Society of Brewing Chemists.
Also on the conference program is journalist Dr Ina Verstl, editor of the international Brauwelt Magazine and co-author of The Beer Monopoly: How brewers bought and built for world domination.
