Bickford’s has rolled out three new syrups created for consumers wanting to make barista-style coffee at home.

The new flavours are Salted Caramel, Roasted Hazelnut and Dark Chocolate and they target the one in three homes that now have a coffee-making machine.

Coffee drinkers are increasingly choosing speciality syrups at cafes, according to Bickford’s marketing manager Chris Illman.

“The new range presents a welcome opportunity for retailers nationally,” Illman said.

Flavoured syrups are expected to deliver incremental cross-category sales to regular white milk and instant coffee purchases – both of which are growing.”

The range is expected to grow and will be sold at Coles, IGA, Foodland and other supermarkets, cafes and restaurants.
